This is something I’ve wondered for a long time, but never thought to ask–do the cows that roam around Indian cities and towns live out their whole lives from birth to death roaming the town, or do they go back to home pastures, dairy farms, etc.

Most of the roamers are the ones who stop giving milk. Owners don’t know what to do with them (can’t kill them, can’t feed them on account of expenses). Most of them have many kilograms of plastic (grocery bags) stuck in there stomachs and many die due to that. In rare cases some towns have gaushalas (cow retirement homes) where they can chill after they….retire)

If I lived in India, I would never get anything done ever. I’d always be stopping to pet the cows. And moo at the cows. And talk to the cows.

That sounds…wonderful, let’s go together

LET’S GO
