Went to North Korea in September – reddit repost
North Korea is such an empty place…
This is what I always notice when people post photos. Big beautiful, empty places.
8 lane highways, 1 car in any given photograph.
They are at the people’s library, not on reddit all day.
They’re the moderators of r/pyongyang. They’ve already banned everyone, nothing left to do
The most surprising thing to me is seeing the Disney backpack.
Me too. I was actually a little bit startled by that.
I was way more surprised to learn that William Fucking Shatner was a North Korean war atrocity victim.
Wayyy late edit: In exchange for all the lovely useless karma, have some free pixels.
That painting is chock full of inappropriately amusing faces. There’s the drunk UPS guy.
Oh, and the guy that couldn’t possibly know what’s going on so he must be shouting just to blend in with the crowd.
Then there’s this confused Russian immigrant.
