A must for Gundam fans! Gundam Build Fighters gadget anime review [8.8/10]
Gundam Build Fighters – Gadget Anime Review
In the near future, Gundam plastic models have again become popular worldwide in a ‘second gunpla boom.’ This popularity is driven by Gunpla Battles, in which competitors use plastic Gundam models to battle each other. Gunpla Battles have become such a phenomenon that worldwide tournaments are now held every year. The main character, Sei Iori, is a young Gunpla builder that dreams of competing in the Gunpla World Tournament. As the only son of a model shop, he is very skilled at building Gunpla but lacks the experience to pilot them. One day, he meets a mysterious boy named Reiji who just happens to be a skilled Gunpla fighter. Working together, they aim for the championship!

This is Gundam, but mainly about Gunpla. A world where Gunpla battles are super popular. If you are a Gundam fan, there will be lots of scenes and jokes just for you. The battle scene between the first mobilesuit and the most recent Gundam is exciting. The story seems fun, but I felt a bit bad for Sazaki…he didn’t seem like a bad kid.
Ramba Ral! 10
Gundam quality from the beginning! As expected of Sunrise! As someone who has been watching Gundam and building Gunpla since childhood, this anime is super nostalgic! The Wing vs Gyan at the beginning was fun to watch, and the battle scenes are much better than expected! The voice actors are great as well! I don’t know if Reiji is human or not though…With the high quality art and music, Gundam fans will be able to enjoy watching new and old mobile suits! I highly recommend it! Ramba Ral makes an appearance too!
Hobby Anime! 9
Boys will enjoy this anime for certain, no excuses! The only son of a model store chases after his father by taking part in Gunpla battles. What an exciting story. The mobile suits from the Gundam stories so far gather and battle, how could it not be fun? This is something that only Sunrise could pull off. I’ve never seen a Gyan this strong! What’s even more amazing is that great animators actually hand-drawing robots rather than using CG. I’m expecting a lot out of the Ramba Ral lookalike. I’d recommend this to everyone, not just Gundam fans.
I’ve never watched a Gundam series all the way through, so I saw this more as a hobby-battle anime for youngsters. They were depicting battles using plastic Gundam models, but I didn’t quite get how the battles worked. Usually kids anime focuses on racing, card games, or any other game that can actually be played in real life, but this is most likely a game that can’t be replicated. Since it can’t be replicated anyway I was hoping for some pretty crazy things happening, but the story was rather average. The hear parts had fallen off after the first battle so I had thought that the fantasy was reflected in reality, but what about the explosions in the second battle? There were plenty of parts that could be enjoyed by people who aren’t as knowledgeable about Gundam, and this will probably be popular among youngsters and those that like kids anime.

I’m an anime otaku gangster hiding in the dark and damp corners of the industry and doing my thing!
From old to new, I’m watching all kinds of anime. Robot, special powers, love, slice-of-life, I will eat anything! My favorites are “Saint Seiya,” “Penguindrum,” and “Pani Poni dash!”
I watch a lot of anime that is popular online.
