If you like Yokai stories, watch this! The art is great so it’s easy to watch.
The art is very good at conveying the setting and ambiance. Yozakura Quartet has apparently been adapted into an anime before, but this was my first time watching and I was able to enjoy it.
Looks nice! 10
I had liked the name when this first became an anime, but just never got around to watching it. So this is what its like. There are a lot of yokai-related stories this season, but I like the feeling of Yozakura Quartet the most. The characters are all cute and the voice acting is very energetic. There are a lot of characters but the story doesn’t get too clogged up, so it was fun to watch. There was one character that seemed like an enemy, but I wonder what will happen.
Just flash a bit of underwear… 8
I started watching with no prior knowledge of the original or previous anime, but it was easy to get into the world and fun to watch. Language-users and yokai tickle my chuuni-byou heart! This kind of kids-forming-a-detective-group usually has to operate secretly, so it was refreshing to see them being open and even using the town PA system. The animation is smooth even during the battles, and makes this worthwhile to watch.
There are a lot of female characters, and plenty of cat ears and pantie-showing going on, but the presentation was very well done so female viewers wouldn’t be too turned away. Kotoha-chan is super cute/cool!
I don’t understand the setting 10
I was looking forward to this anime, but the first episode was a bit hard to understand for me. It had a bit of Kyoto and traditional Japanese feel to it, but the setting was based in Tokyo? The characters were charismatic though. I’m looking forward to seeing how the story will develop from now on.
I want to be friends with cute yokai girls 10
Yozakura is a renewal of a series that was broadcast several years ago. I vaguely remember what the story was about, but in essence it was my first time watching.
The story is set in a town where Yokai and humans live together, and the main heroine is the mayor of the town! The performance was well done, with a lazy slice-of-life part at the beginning to a fast-paced latter part. The music was very well done as well. I’m excited to see what will happen next!

I watch a lot of anime that is popular online.
I love anime from the 90s and 00s, voice actors, and idol units. I haven’t watched anime recently so I’m easing my way back in.
