Gaist Crusher – Gadget Anime Review
In the year 2047, Gaimetal was found 50,000m below the surface of the earth. Gaimetal contained a high amount of energy, and began to be harvested around the world. However in the year 2055, metallic beings covered in Gaimetal known as “Gaist” began to appear and attack humanity. In order to defend against this threat, humanity created the “Gaist Crusher Garrison,” or GCG. This marked the beginning of the war between “Gaist” and humanity.

The Shonen anime “Gaist Crusher.” It perfectly revives the great old method of using an explanatory OP song and a dramatic narration. The main character gets thrown into the air a couple times and eats during battle scenes, making it amusing to watch as well. There were a lot of characters whose names come from metals or natural resources, but the name “Tennen Gus” (literally “Natural Gas”) was cool and unforgettable.
Sounds like Godzilla 8
I laughed. It’s a situation where they should be in full alert but there is no nervousness or excitement. The tempo is bad. I realize that it’s targeted at kids, but still. It was reminiscent of Kabuto Borg and Monsoono, so if you liked those you might enjoy this. The song was weird too. It was funny.
The mid-boss is probably Apollo Gaist 10
The OP song really doesn’t let you forget the name Gaist Crusher…lol
They used outfits called Gaist Gear, so maybe it’s like Saint Seiya? They crush the gaist…maybe it’s similar to the recent Gyro Zetter?
There are a lot of new voice actors for the main roles, so hopefully they can use this anime to practice and grow! Konishi’s commander was a good, old-fashioned style that reminded me of Gaogaigar and Yuushaou. The plot moves along pretty quickly so lets see if they will be able to capture the hearts of the kids watching.

Impact of the main theme 10
This is what the memorable theme song played at the 2013 Tokyo Game Show Capcom booth belongs to! It seems like there will be games and a manga series to go along with the anime.
There are plenty of colorful characters beside the main character, so if the kids like the show they should be able to make a lot of money. I guess it’s important to have a easy song to understand and sing along to.
I watch a lot of anime that is popular online.
From old to new, I’m watching all kinds of anime. Robot, special powers, love, slice-of-life, I will eat anything! My favorites are “Saint Seiya,” “Penguindrum,” and “Pani Poni dash!”
I’m an anime otaku gangster hiding in the dark and damp corners of the industry and doing my thing!
